Shopping for a vegetarian diet is much like shopping for any healthy diet; plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, pulses, grains and cereals. When buying processed food it’s important to take a closer look at the label and to double check the listed ingredients. Many processed foods can contain animal derived ingredients such as rennet in cheese or gelatine in yoghurt.
