Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!! Wow, it’s been a long couple of months and I apologise for my absence and the lack of new recipes here on Veggie num num!!
After moving back to Australia from New Zealand all the way back in November, staying in temporary accommodation in Brisbane and a few weeks off to travel ‘up North’ to see my wonderful family; it has all equalled no kitchen and close to zero internet time; which means no Veggie num num!!!
But, I am happy to say that Cam, the kitties and I are now in our new little mountain home fully equipped with a huge kitchen and plenty of space for a veggie garden… so let the cooking begin :)
I hope to be sharing recipes again as of next week so stay tuned Veggie num nummers 2011 is going to be a big year with lots of new and delicious Vegetarian recipes coming your way very soon!!!

We’re moving in a few weeks too, thankfully to a much bigger kitchen, so I can’t wait.

I really like your food photography. What type of equipment do you use?
Hi Kyle, thanks so much, am glad to hear you like the photography here on Veggie num num :) I’m shooting with a canon 5D mark II (DSLR) and use a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 and a Canon EF 50mm f/4 (an amazing set-up that I’m so happy with). Previously (until June 2010) I was shooting with a Pentax istD*. I try to always shoot in plenty of natural light for the best colour balance and contrast. Thanks again for the interest, just popped over to your site and you have some awesome artwork, very nice :))
